Analytics & Operational Support

Carol standardizes various source data and centrally applies the necessary business rules to transform that data into information. The Clinical Analytics platform and its output support critical alignment of measurement to practice in the successful transition to value-based care. In cooperation with our clients, Carol develops an inventory of desired analytic reports to be available on demand. The application interface provides capability for authorized users to generate pre-defined analytics reports.

Clients will obtain the benefit of analytics and reporting enhancements based on their own care redesign efforts, as well as the redesign efforts of other Carol clients. Due to the unique coupling of Carol's care redesign support with the Clinical Analytics platform development, clients can prioritize their own analytics development needs in concordance with their own redesign pace.

Carol's platform supports population health management integration to care delivery. Services include:

• Care coordination reporting.

Hosting

The Clinical Analytics platform is supported by the Carol constructed and hosted data warehouse, which obtains and integrates all the client's, payers' and other third parties' data. Data elements include both clinical and administrative claims data regarding patient encounters, medications, labs, vitals, conditions and billing along with patient demographics and other information relating to care delivery. The hosting—storage and utilization of data—are all HIPAA compliant and include annual reviews and audits. Carol facilitates and ensures that appropriate BAA and data use agreements are in place. Carol establishes a data transfer mechanism with network providers and participating payers, including an ongoing validation and management process.
